"Over the years the coalition has had one of the biggest impacts on my life! Every holiday season I look forward to being a part of the great toy drive, hosted for families in need. Volunteering alongside people who create a positive and joyful atmosphere; while watching the mothers, fathers, and kids' eyes light up when they walk in the room for the first time to pick out gifts for the holidays! The coalition has taught me valuable life lessons that I try to carry with me everyday. That life is not about what I gain but simply what I can give. Watching Tyrone and his family give so much time and effort into the toy drive inspires me to lay my own needs down for the benefit of others. Ultimately, through serving I actually felt the benefits within myself. This annual event has shaped my character, positively impacted my mind frame, and softened my heart to what it means to truly love your neighbor. I'm extremely grateful for the opportunity to be a small part of such a big mission!"

Volunteer impact — the Coalition has really involved me in the community in ways that I would have never imagined. Their impact on the community is noticed and respected. I have been supporting the annual toy drive for about 10 years and each and every year it is bigger and better.

Student impact — With parents who both worked it would have been extremely hard for me to visit different colleges during the week, especially those that were long distance. The coalition was able to provide us with not only transportation, but valuable experiences that I still cherish until this day.
